I'd like to have a central theme that binds the different parts of the interface together. Something like what you see in beatmania: 9th style has a "music computer system" type theme, while 11th style has the electric thing going with a core of some sort visible in many screens. Its something that can inspire little background touches.

I've thought about a few ideas, but none have really struck me as what i'd like to do. I like the way that 11th style has a red theme; a unifying color that influences everything.

I've created a sample of what i think might work; i'm not great with illustrator so bear with it; suggestions most appreciated.
